About Amber McNamara...

I grew up in Oamaru - a small town, a big curiosity, and no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up.

At 14, the world wanted an answer. I didn't have one. So instead of choosing a lane, when I finished High School, I jumped into the workforce and learned everything I could. Operations. Finance. Production. Sales. Health & Safety. Logistics. Project management. Different industries, different problems, different people.

What looked like a winding career was actually a pattern. Every new field taught me something the last one couldn't. I started seeing the connections - how a process gap in operations shows up as a budget problem in finance. How a new system fails not because of the software, but because of the people. How the real bottleneck is rarely where everyone's looking.

That's the helicopter view. And it's what I bring to every client.

Today, through McNamara Consulting, I work with business owners and leadership teams who need more than a specialist. They need someone who can see the whole picture - and then do something about it.
